Southampton Such a Good Progress.

The game of football has indeed changed into a much better blend in the Premier League from Southampton this season. The lads are good you can only write them off when you haven’t or finished playing against them. The touches, passes, flicks, free kicks and possession are all magnificent from players like Lambert, Rodriguez etc.

The just concluded fixture against Chelsea made them look a better side from the chances to reach, shoot and score at goal. Those two goals made them look like they were like among the first four teams from great passes to a one touch killer pass beating several men to a well-placed player Jay Rodriguez who made no mistake but displayed ability to great finishing.

With Chelsea’s reckless fouling outside the penalty area 30 yards away from Petr Cech, it looked like one of those free kicks that come and go without no effect to the stats of the game, but yet in a game that was swinging one way to the other, Chelsea were not level for long. It was another set-piece that brought the next goal, although it was a moment of real class, Rickie Lambert firing a glorious 30-yard free-kick into the top corner of the net that left Cech without a prayer.

Personally, I think that these lads deserve better because with their blend of football, they need to it away from home in Europe to get that experience and exposure.

As this season comes to an end, if well evaluated and mistakes corrected with no star players leaving but some more coming in, these lads will cause more headaches and heart breaks in the Premier League 2013/2014 Season.
